Penguins live and breed in some of the harshest and coldest environments on earth. While one penguin goes to eat, its mate keeps the egg, or chick, warm. This cooperation and partnership allows them to prosper. Individuals with a penguin totem should consider how a partnership might help them. While it is true that penguins cannot  y, they do have a very unique ability: penguins can swim very fast, then using the air trapped in their feathers, they can rocket themselves up and out of the icy waters at tremendous speeds!
