This ability to stay still and observe and then react at a moment’s notice serves them well for both hunting and survival. If a lizard is your totem, stop and take a moment to observe the motions, and the emotions, around you. Much like the way a lizard can detach its tail to escape, so too may you need to detach yourself from your immediate reactions. Spend some time in the sun contemplating which way to move.
